A Letter From Our CEO

Dear Friends,

I am writing to share with you some reflections on how Matouk has responded to the COVID-19 crisis.

The pandemic has shown all of us the true meaning of heroism as we have watched courageous healthcare professionals and other front-line workers put themselves at risk in order to protect the health and safety of all Americans. At Matouk, we have endeavored to do our share to participate in this effort and support all of those who have taken risks and made sacrifices on our behalf.

In early March, our artisans in Fall River, Massachusetts quickly shifted their efforts from bed and bath linens to the production of reusable fabric masks that so many workers required. We then trained our partners in the Philippines to do the same. I’m proud to say that as of today, we have produced and distributed more than 250,000 masks to hospitals, nursing homes, homeless shelters and other essential organizations who needed their own protection in order to protect and serve the rest of us. We have donated tens of thousands of those masks to organizations who didn’t have the budget to pay for them. Further, we have donated more than 1000 sets of bed linens to homeless and healthcare organizations who are providing emergency shelter during the crisis.

During this health crisis, our commitment to offering you and your family the highest quality products remains unwavering. We hope that it brings you an additional layer of comfort to know that we are doing everything possible to take your support of Matouk and pay it forward to the people around the country who need it most.

On behalf of everyone at Matouk,

George Matouk, Jr.

CEO
