Plant Engineer

Fall River, MA

The Plant Engineer will be responsible for achieving the highest level of reliability for manufacturing and facilities equipment. The Plant Engineer will lead a multi-shift and multi-building maintenance team and be responsible for all equipment and maintenance related activities (including overseeing sub-contractors), as well as safety and cleanliness throughout the plant and facility. Core objectives include reducing downtime and improving overall equipment effectiveness by optimizing the preventive maintenance program, capital budget, and critical spare parts inventory. Under the direction of the VP of Operations, the Plant Engineer will lead the day-to-day maintenance operations as well as the project engineering functions while providing continuity between the production, scheduling, and maintenance areas. A successful Plant Engineer will be skilled at balancing long-term planning and goals with the daily operations. This is an opportunity to build structure and best practice processes around equipment management and maintenance.

1st shift - Maintenance Technician (full-time)

Fall River, MA

The Facility Maintenance Technician will perform required maintenance and repairs on building and equipment; as scheduled or as needed during processing hours.

1st shift - Stitchers (temp to perm)

Fall River, MA

The Stitcher will operate a sewing machine to join, reinforce, decorate, or perform related sewing operations in the manufacture of high-end textile products. This person will need to set up equipment and materials, follow work procedures, and utilize different models of sewing machines while adhering to Matouk production quality standards.

1st shift - Custodian

Fall River, MA

The Janitor/Custodian at Matouk is a key function that is expected to remain flexible with duties as custodial needs may change throughout the day. This person is responsible to complete a checklist on a daily basis to ensure all duties are completed, including but not limited to sanitization, removing trash from common areas, restocking soap and paper towels, and assisting in maintenance where needed. Special events may cause need for extra help in alternative areas other than the usual checklist items. This person is consistently sanitizing and maintaining a clean cafe, lounge, office, and production area while monitoring the level of supplies across the facility throughout the day.

2nd shift - Fulfillment and Shipping Supervisor

Fall River, MA

The Supervisor, Order Fulfilment and Shipping is responsible for the day to day operations of Order Fulfilment and Shipping on an assigned shift. This position is responsible for developing and deploying tactical strategies to meet the shift’s daily, weekly, & monthly order fulfillment objectives.

2nd shift - Stitchers (temp to perm)

Fall River, MA

2nd shift - Operations Supervisor

Fall River, MA

The Operations Supervisor will provide leadership and supervision to all 2nd shift operations at our 767 site including manufacturing and the fulfillment center working collaboratively with the entire operations team including department managers, supervisors, and associates. The Operations Supervisor will distribute work based on daily operational needs and provide support, offer guidance and answer concerns from employees. The Operations Supervisor will provide expertise and support in all areas of responsibility to ensure the operation meets customer expectations as well as other key performance metrics with a keen focus on continuous improvement driven by metrics. He/she will be a working supervisor and support the development and implementation of initiatives to improve safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity while driving down cost within the operation.

Data Entry (EDI) Specialist

Fall River, MA

The EDI Specialist performs administrative duties for the data entry department and is responsible for downloading sales orders from our trading partners and uploading them into our ERP system.

HYBRID - Customer Service Representative

Fall River, MA

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for ensuring a superior customer experience by managing and interacting with Sales Representatives, retail customers, and consumers. He/She is responsible for organizing and responding to customer inquiries and requests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as fulfillment, production and finance. The Customer Service Representative strives to build a positive relationship with customers and always ensures inquiries, projects and tasks move forward in the most effective and efficient way possible, while following the “Beliefs in Action” statement of Matouk’s guiding principles. Schedule: Full-Time - 8:30am - 5:00pm (8 hours in the office & 32 hours working from home per week).

Machine Operator (temp to perm)

Fall River, MA

The Automated Embroidery Machine Operator - Monogramming will operate multiple automated embroidery machines and computerized design software. Work orders are received for standard and custom monograms and designs. The operator must interpret the work order, make adjustments to the order if necessary and set up the machine to monogram the product. This operator will work closely with order entry to troubleshoot and expedite orders. Automated Embroidery Machine Operator - Monogramming will also run non-monogramming automated equipment.

Finishing: Fold & Pack

Fall River, MA

The Fold & Packer will fold and package a variety of luxury linens by hand, including but not limited to towels, blankets, bedding, curtains, robes, and miscellaneous linen items. First, they will receive finished textiles from Final Press and then they will begin the packaging process for each particular product. Different products may require different methods of packaging. Our Fold & Packers utilize a manual plastic packaging & sealing machine and a label making machine and applicator to print and attach labels or tags to finished items. This is where Matouk products are put into final packaging and sent to the fulfillment center for stock and distribution. This role is expected to be flexible, based on evolving business needs.
